Welcome to the PARTY
As a mom of girls ages 4,6, and 8 I am faced with the ultimate experience of having a toddler and two small children. I often here the three of them laughing, playing, and even disagreeing in the same conversation. Their bond is unique and certainly what I prayed for. I am teaching them that its okay to respectfully disagree and to voice their opinion and desires as they feel. As a mom its important for me to show them by leading as an example in our home when it comes to voicing frustrations and concerns. They are always watching; their eyes and ears make me better if you know what I mean.
This year I want to encourage all moms to be optimistic about your motherhood journey; its never what we paint it to be in our heads before the children arrive earthside. Once they are born we are in for a ride.
Moms have to take care of themselves everyday, just as we care for our kids everyday. You’ve heard the saying “you cant pour from an empty cup”, so I am committed to having me time before the family wakes. I plan to fill my cup up daily so I can intentionally pour into my family without feeling drained. On days that I have self -care to start time my day I honestly can tell a difference in my attitude and mood. The smallest actions do not bother me as much and I am in an overall better mood. Give this a try and let me know how it works for you. Self care is vital for mothers. We all desire to get the most JOY out of motherhood. For as long as I can remember I have had some sort of skincare routine. Skin care is important to me I have never been into exploring lots of products because I have combination sensitive skin. I have used the following products for many years. My winter routine involves a bit more moisturizer because I tend to get dry in my T-ZONE. I want to encourage you to create a day and night time routine for your skin. I look forward to cleaning my face twice a day. There is just something about freshly washed skin that helps me feel more prepared for the day and nicely cleansed skin that helps me whine down in the evenings. Skin is always in!

Welcome to my new blog, “Turner Party Of Five”!
Turner Party Of Five was created to connect with other moms and women through my love for my very own family.
I am super excited to share all things motherhood, family, fun, and everything in the middle with you!
I have prayed about this journey for some time, and now the time has finally come!
Deciding to finally step out on faith was not easy. It can be difficult to step into new territory. After all, the goal is to be consistent and provide valuable content that is needed and wanted by my community.
Nevertheless, I have decided to let God lead me because I know that HE placed this blog in my heart for a reason. I hope to laugh, grow, and share my life’s journey with you as I strive to share mom-spiration, inspiration, fashion, fun, recipes, beauty, wellness, wins, obstacles, and more. Now, we are in a new year; 2024… my goal was to start this blog in January of 2021. Moral of the story; it’s never too late to start! I want to encourage your to reflect on the thing(s) you wanted to do last year and strive to do it this year. I believe in you! You got this!

Its 2024 and I have a few fitness goals that I want to strive for this year. However, I am breaking my goals down by quarters. It feels better for me to evaluate my fitness goals and have check-ins after 3 months as opposed to an entire year. My plans are to workout 4 – 5 times a week. I will rise before the family awakes and then get moving. my overall goal is to reduce fat and gain muscle. Afterall, I am getting older so my metabolism isnt what it use to be. I currently plan to workout in my home gym. What are your fitness goals?
